NEW (Remote) Project Controls Manager/Project Manager – Data Center Construction

Position Overview: The Project Controls Manager / Project Manager serves as the architect of project execution—designing and managing the systems that govern schedule, cost, and change across a large-scale, multi-site construction program. This role establishes the single source of truth for project performance, ensuring leadership has accurate, timely data to drive decisions. You’ll work cross-functionally with project leadership, field teams, and subcontractors to drive alignment, accountability, and execution consistency. This is a highly visible role in a fast-paced, complex build environment where structure, accuracy, and forward-looking insight are critical.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in project controls, project management, or cost/schedule management
- Strong experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Expert proficiency in Primavera P6
- Experience with cost control systems, scheduling methodologies, and reporting tools
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)
- Exposure to 4D/5D BIM (schedule + cost integration)
- Experience in data analytics for predictive risk analysis
- Background in data center or mission-critical construction
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage master project schedules across multiple sites
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies
- Align field execution with milestones and overall program timelines
- Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting across projects
- Implement and manage earned value management (EVM) processes
- Monitor cost performance and provide actionable insights
- Establish and manage project-wide change control processes
- Ensure all changes are documented, evaluated, and approved
- Maintain alignment across schedule, cost, and scope
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
- Lead weekly and monthly reporting cadences
- Provide forward-looking insights on risks and performance trends
- Design scalable project controls systems and processes
- Drive consistency and accountability across stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity across tools and reporting systems
