About The Position

Stelic LLC in Germantown, MD seeks a Project Controls Lead (Specialist) to develop and maintain project schedules, analyze project progress, prepare cost estimates and forecasts, manage cost control systems, create earned value management (EVM) reports, coordinate with project teams, prepare stakeholder reports, perform risk analysis, ensure compliance with standards, utilize software tools for data analysis, monitor procurement schedules, and maintain documentation for change management. The role allows for 100% telecommuting from anywhere in the United States when not at a client site, with travel required 1-2 times per year to unanticipated client locations across the U.S.

Requirements

5 years of experience in the job offered or a related role
Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential
Certified Expert in Forensic Schedule certification
Advance Primavera P6 Schedule Building for Contractors certification
Financial management certification

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Analyze project progress and performance against baseline schedules
Prepare cost estimates and forecasts for project budgets
Manage cost control systems to monitor project expenditures and variances
Create and maintain earned value management (EVM) reports to track project performance
Coordinate with project managers and teams to resolve scheduling and cost issues
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders
Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with organizational and client standards for project controls
Utilize software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
Monitor procurement schedules and vendor performance
Maintain documentation for change management and project controls processes
