Project Controls Intern
About The Position
Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions business develops automation software to streamline manufacturing processes. We are looking for a Project Controls Intern (Summer 2027) who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment at our St. Louis, Mo location. As a Project Controls Intern, you will work with Project Control Leads and Managers during all project stages including Project Initiation, Planning, Monitoring, and Controlling and Closing. In this role you will begin to learn project controls functions and build a strong foundation in Project Management.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering Management, Business Accounting, Administration, Management or Finance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and experience with the Process Automation industry
- Previous internship experience a plus
- Proven results in creating business growth and building effective relationships
Responsibilities
- Use analytics tools to provide insight into the health of our projects
- Use Power BI dashboards to analyze key project metrics in a meaningful way.
- Report to Project Managers and Key Leadership on insights and opportunities as they develop on projects.
- Use Power BI dashboards, scheduling and forecasting tools to control Projects.
- Support the initiation, monitoring and controlling of all aspects of Projects.
