Using LAWA’s PMIS and other sources, this role reviews cost and contract performance of the Capital Program and reports variances and risks. It develops programmatic policies, procedures, and reports to ensure proper cost controls across the Capital Program. The position performs independent analysis of project cost and contract performance throughout the project life cycle, including budgeting, invoice processing, progress reporting, resource management, and closeout. It assists in the development of and administers LAWA’s Program Services Budget. The role collaborates with the Program Risk Manager to properly calculate and report project and programmatic risks. It works to develop tools and coordinates cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards, accuracy, and consistency. The position also assists and trains cost engineering staff across the Capital Program. It collaborates with Finance and the Estimating team on the Asset Register and project Capitalization. Furthermore, it collaborates with Controls staff on Expenditure Forecasting and supports controls efforts to respond to internal and external audits.
