Essential Job Duties Using LAWA�s PMIS and other sources, reviews cost and contract performance of the Capital Program and report variances and risks Develops programmatic policies, procedures, and reports to ensure proper cost control across the Capital Program. Performs independent analysis of project cost and contract performance throughout the project life cycle, including but not limited to, budgeting, invoice processing, progress reporting, resource management, and closeout. Assists in the development of and administers LAWA�s Program Services Budget. Collaborates with the Program Risk Manager to properly calculate and report project and programmatic risks. Works to develop tools and coordinates cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards accuracy and consistency. Assists and trains cost engineering staff across the Capital Program. Collaborates with Finance and the Estimating team on the Asset Register and project Capitalization. Collaborates with Controls staff on Expenditure Forecasting. Support controls efforts to respond to internal and external audits.
