About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking a Project Controls II candidate for a client site in Huntersville, North Carolina. This is an intermediate-level role in the Project Controls classification hierarchy. With general oversight, the worker initiates and completes routine aspects of project control assignments, applies project controls principles and procedures to fairly complex and varied work, and uses associated project controls software. The role may involve relationships with individuals at varying levels across organizations and with external suppliers and vendors. The assignment is listed as 24 months, with a 4/10 schedule.

Requirements

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in accounting.
• At least 2 years of project controls experience.
• Working knowledge of project controls principles.
• Working knowledge to proficiency with project management and project controls concepts and computer applications, including scheduling software, financial tools, and spreadsheets.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• PMI or AACE certification, or equivalent, such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, or AACE-EVP.
• Experience with software such as MS Project, Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, MS Office Suite, Prolog, Visio, Powerplant, Emax, or PeopleSoft.
