Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
2+ years of experience in heavy industrial, EPC, or similar project environments
Hands‑on experience developing estimates aligned with AACE cost classes
Familiarity with estimating tools commonly used by EPC contractors
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with technical and non‑technical teams alike
Understanding of how cost, schedule, and risk integrate within project controls
A Q Clearance or the ability to obtain one
A desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally

Nice To Haves

Experience in nuclear or defense programs is a strong plus
Experience with tools such as ProPricer, InEight, Sage, Open Plan, or similar systems

Responsibilities

Maintain and refine Centrus’ estimating standards, tools, and procedures to ensure consistent, high‑quality cost estimates.
Align planning, scheduling, forecasting, work packaging, and change management efforts to support cohesive project cost development.
Prepare all necessary inputs—such as procedures, rates, and resource data—to produce accurate AACE Class 5 through Class 1 estimates and convert these into detailed budgets that support all phases of the project, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and operations.
Help establish, adjust, and re‑baseline project budgets, identifying deviations, and supporting issue resolution.
Collaborate with Contracts & Procurement to validate pricing, assist with negotiations, and evaluate change orders.
Assess cost impacts related to scope changes and risks, contribute to contingency and risk planning, and support dispute resolution or claims analysis, including deep‑dive cost reviews when necessary.
