The Project Controls Engineer will perform engineering design evaluations, work within budget and scheduling constraints, review industry policies for accuracy, security, and compliance, and provide technical support for the engineering process. This role involves designing and communicating operational plans for project completion.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree.
Typically requires 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Works independently with general supervision.

Responsibilities

Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensures that budget forecasts, progress monitoring, cost reporting and corrective action, and information systems procedures meet specific project requirements.
Establishes and maintains cost control procedures.
Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
Liaises with planning, cost, and estimating engineering functions and accounting/administrative functions on cost control matters.
Monitors and reports information for master plan roll-ups.
Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
Provides commercial input and technical review of tenders and proposals.
Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
