About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking a Project Controls Cost Analyst II for our client's site in Plainfield, IN. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in the office. Workers at this level are responsible for routine aspects of project control assignments with close supervision, and are expected to develop their skills to work with increased independence. This role will work with a team of Project Controls Analysts and Schedulers, performing cost forecasting and reporting for projects with an annual spend between $10K to $1M. Responsibilities include comparing monthly actuals to the project baseline and identifying variances. This position will partner with a more experienced Project Controls Analyst and requires a working knowledge of Excel, good problem-solving skills, and strong collaborative and communication skills. The selected candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of basic project controls principles. This position is typically assigned to 'White' or 'Green' projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

Requirements

• Graduation from a two-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of project controls experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated working knowledge with Project Management / Project Controls Concepts / Computer Applications such as Scheduling Software, Financial Tools, Spreadsheets.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good collaborative, communications skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic project controls principles.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent.
• PMI or AACE certification (PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP).
• Experience using software such as MS Project, Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, MS Office Suite, Prolog, Visio, Access, Powerplant, Maximo, PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost forecasting and reporting tasks for a portfolio of projects budgeted anywhere from $10K to $1M annual spend.
