About The Position

Brevitas is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Project Controls Coordinator to join their team in Toronto, ON (hybrid). This role is not in IT and requires experience in project coordination, administration, or controls within a construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similar project-based environment. The company focuses on helping organizations achieve tangible results and lasting improvements through successful project delivery, continuous process improvement, and effective change management, with expertise in Project Management, Engineering, Commissioning & Qualification, Validation, Quality Systems, and Regulatory Affairs.

Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, project controls in an engineering, construction, or manufacturing project environment.
College diploma, university degree, or equivalent work experience in Business, Construction Management, Project Management, Administration, Science, Technology, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good written communication skills, including meeting minutes, action logs, and status updates.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently with guidance and escalate issues when needed.

Responsibilities

Support project progress tracking through meetings, email follow-ups, and regular team updates.
Maintain project trackers, action logs, status reports, and other project control tools.
Support the change management process and assist with cost tracking, actual vs budget updates, and forecast inputs under the direction of the Project Manager.
Support preparation of project and portfolio status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
Help ensure project information is accurate, organized, and available to support decision-making.
