About The Position

Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for Project Controls 3 & 4 positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in Los Alamos, NM. Project Controls professionals at this level are essential to supporting mission-critical weapons production programs at LANL. You will ensure projects remain on track by managing cost, schedule, and performance using advanced EVMS tools in a highly regulated nuclear environment. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance
  • Strong Project Controls experience (cost + schedule)
  • Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 AND Deltek Cobra
  • Demonstrated experience in project controls (cost + schedule integration)
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Deltek, and Cobra
  • Experience supporting EVMS-driven projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently in a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Bachelor’s degree and ~8–10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) for Project Controls 3
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent) for Project Controls 4

Nice To Haves

  • Deltek Cobra Administration / backend experience
  • Experience with Delta/Cobra integrations or troubleshooting
  • DOE, NNSA, nuclear, or other highly regulated project experience
  • Experience working in classified or secure environments
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes
  • Perform cost estimating, cost control, and financial analysis
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Utilize Deltek Cobra for cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting
  • Identify and communicate cost and schedule trends to leadership
  • Support project teams with planning, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Troubleshoot and support Cobra backend/system issues
  • Ensure alignment between cost, schedule, and technical scope
  • Provide technical direction and oversight to project controls teams (Level 4)
