About The Position

The Project Control Officer supports the effective planning, control, and monitoring of projects and programs within the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO). This role is focused on project controls disciplines including integrated scheduling, financial tracking, reporting, risk and issue management, change control, and governance support. The PCO partners closely with Delivery Managers, Program Managers, Finance, and stakeholder teams to ensure delivery transparency, predictability, and adherence to enterprise governance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in project controls, PMO, project coordination, or delivery support roles
  • Experience supporting business or technology initiatives within a structured delivery environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
  • Exposure to enterprise delivery frameworks and governance processes
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • CAPM, PMP (an asset), or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously update integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies across assigned projects or programs
  • Track and report on delivery performance including schedule, cost, scope, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Maintain RAID logs, change logs, decision logs, and action items, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare high-quality, executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and materials for governance forums and leadership consumption
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, ensuring alignment with enterprise reporting standards
  • Support project financial management including budget tracking, forecasting, accruals, actuals, and variance analysis
  • Partner with Delivery Managers and Finance to ensure financial controls, data integrity, and timely reporting
  • Support vendor financial tracking, invoice validation, and cost allocation activities
  • Identify financial risks, trends, and variances, escalating concerns and insights as appropriate
  • Support integrated planning across multiple workstreams, teams, and delivery partners
  • Assist in identifying, tracking, and escalating delivery risks and issues, including clear articulation of impacts and mitigation options
  • Support scope, schedule, budget, and priority change assessments, including impact analysis and documentation
  • Enable effective dependency management across internal and external teams
  • Support delivery governance forums at the Director and VP levels, including preparation of materials and tracking of actions and decisions
  • Ensure adherence to Enterprise Delivery Frameworks, controls, and audit requirements
  • Support delivery assurance activities, including internal reviews, audits, and regulatory requests
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation aligned to enterprise standards
  • Partner closely with Delivery Managers, Program Managers, Technology teams, Business stakeholders, Risk, and Finance
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple teams to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting
  • Build strong working relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail
