About The Position

Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions team provides clients with advisory and end-to-end support across strategy and execution, including cost optimization, government operations modernization, business transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainability. The Project Consultant supports construction management activities, preparing documents and analysis and completing work at construction sites. The role is based in Tampa, Florida, and includes day trips throughout southwest Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction contract administration, data analysis, operations, and program management.
• Ability to travel up to 50–80% on average, depending on work and clients served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the lifecycle of activities related to construction management.
• Prepare documents, such as bidding cover sheets.
• Conduct analysis.
• Complete on-site work at construction sites, such as bid walks.
• Complete day trips throughout the southwest Florida region.
• Lead projects or workstreams and provide clear guidance to others.
