KBR Inc., in support of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe Center, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Configuration Analyst with subject matter expertise in FAA airspace design. The position, based in Cambridge, MA, supports the development of Air Traffic Management (ATM) concepts and systems aiming at increasing the capacity and efficiency of National Airspace System (NAS). KBR Inc. supports the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe Center with the development and evaluation of real-time communication, navigation, surveillance, and decision support systems to support aviation operations throughout the nation and the world. Our team specializes in planning, researching, testing, and evaluating the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). Our work helps the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) improve safety, alleviate air traffic congestion, and mitigate environmental impacts. The selected candidate will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team operating in an agile and fast paced environment and utilizing state-of-the-art technologies (e.g.: cloud, big data). Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and have resided in the United States for 3 out of the last 5 years.
