About The Position

Performance Contracting is seeking a Project Assistant for its PCI Sacramento 556 operations based in North Highlands, CA. This individual will input project information into Excel and Bluebeam, create and manage punch lists, assist with the preparation of RFIs and submittals, assist with managing labor control on the project, assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs for material ordering, and maintain accurate and timely project documentation and correspondence, and track and cost-value material handling.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a degree program in Construction Management, Construction Science, or similar field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical functions and applying new skills are they’re learned
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and receive and follow direction from multiple sources
• Possesses critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools preferred
• Local to North Highlands, CA metro area.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
