About The Position

PCI is seeking a full-time, hourly Project Assistant - Virtual Design and Construction for its Nevada 558 operations. The role is based at an active construction jobsite in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Project Assistant, VDC develops and maintains accurate 2D and 3D construction models using BIM software and supports virtual construction and prefabrication work. This is a safety-sensitive position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The hourly wage is $25 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a construction, architectural, or design-related environment.
• Understanding of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) processes and workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proactivity and self-accountability, and ability to multitask.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to acquire new skills and implement them quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Sense of urgency when mitigating issues.

Nice To Haves

• 2-year degree in Architecture or a CAD degree.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience with BIM modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Revizto, Rhino, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of clash detection, model coordination, laser scanning, or prefabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D construction models using BIM software.
• Interpret construction documents, specifications, and design requirements.
• Maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle, including revisions and field updates.
• Support prefabrication, layout, and virtual construction initiatives.
• Use Autodesk software and collaboration platforms to manage project information and model workflows.
