Project Assistant Superintendent (Construction)
About The Position
Midsized Manhattan based Construction Company is looking for a Construction Assistant Superintendent (AS). The AS reports to the Director of Construction and/or Project Executive and schedules, coordinates, plans and help supervise all field operations on a project. The AS is responsible to direct and supervise subcontractors to assure the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control, cost control and customer satisfaction. Overall, the AS is expected to provide construction management and general contracting services that meets the highest level of quality.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4+ years of construction related experience as a Construction Assistant Superintendent or similar.
- Ability to communicate both written and oral.
- Procore Proficient.

Responsibilities
- Schedules, coordinates, plans and helps supervise all field operations on a project.
- Directs and supervises subcontractors to assure the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control, cost control and customer satisfaction.
- Provides construction management and general contracting services that meets the highest level of quality.
- Manages site activity.
- Anticipates and resolves field related issues.
- Establishes and enforces site schedule requirements.
- Manages site safety and insurance risks.
- Ensures all safety regulations are properly enforced.
