A licensed Architect responsible for guiding design teams through the design and technical development and refinement of projects and managing all technical documentation through each phase of construction. This role involves bringing skill and innovation to design, production drawings, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with design intent, building systems, construction detailing, and coordination with specifications. The architect will maintain project manuals, develop solutions through technical and design refinement, conduct on-site observations, and manage project close-out efforts. Additionally, the role includes managing technical documentation such as proposal requests, change orders, and revisions, and may involve direct client interaction for project scoping, proposal development, and negotiation. The Project Architect will also function as a project leader, manage small teams, and handle project management tasks like staffing, fee estimating, and scheduling, while regularly reporting project status to the Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager. External representation of the firm through professional organizations and conferences is also expected.
