Position Summary: We are seeking well-rounded Project Architects with experience working in a variety of project types and scales with a focus on Infrastructure, Multifamily, Academics, and/or Hospitality. The Project Architect will lead the planning, organizing, and implementation of project technical details, standards, and design execution. This position requires a balance of design sensibility, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and to Arrowstreet’s high standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure)
  • 5-12 years of post-undergraduate/Graduate professional experience
  • Well-rounded in all aspects of project design, technical detailing and management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in Revit with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Solid understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and permitting processes
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead, facilitate and actively participate in client meetings and communicate technical solutions clearly
  • Partner with Project Manager to establish work plans, schedules, and deliverable strategies.
  • Maintain alignment between design intent and technical execution across all project deliverables.
  • Produce and oversee detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (structural, MEP, civil, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical and design support throughout construction.
  • Conduct site observations and prepare field reports.
  • Review and process submittments, RFIs, payment applications, change orders, and substitution requests.
  • Conduct quality control reviews and ensure accuracy of technical deliverables
  • Support PIC and project managers in scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Provide design and technical guidance to junior staff and team members
