About The Position

The Project Architect I (RA) is responsible for overseeing the design and development of architectural projects, focusing on technical accuracy and client requirements. As a licensed professional, this role involves leading the preparation of construction documents, managing design teams, and ensuring project alignment with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Licensed Architect (RA)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in architectural design

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of design solutions from initial concept through design development, ensuring that designs meet client expectations, budget constraints, and are technically sound
  • Prepare detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Coordinate the work of consultants, contractors, and internal design teams to integrate various aspects of a project, including mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
  • Manage project schedules and timelines, tracking milestones and ensuring timely completion of deliverables while managing project budgets and resources
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure construction follows the approved plans and specifications, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure that all parties are aligned and project goals are being met
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, helping them to improve their skills and understanding of the architectural process
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements, including building permits, zoning laws, and sustainability certifications, such as LEED or WELL
