About The Position

Little is seeking a Project Architect with a passion for high-quality healthcare design and a positive, collaborative work style for its expanding Healthcare Studio in Charlotte. The selected individual will work with clients on projects of varying size and scope, contributing to a team dedicated to advancing breakthrough ideas through design. The work includes interior fit-outs, renovations, equipment/infrastructure replacements, and ground-up projects, with project types ranging from master planning and interiors to ambulatory healthcare centers, diagnostics & specialty care, acute care hospitals, and behavioral health facilities. This position requires a team member who listens to clients and team members while leading projects confidently, possesses a growth mindset, a positive attitude, and aims to expand influence within the team and industry.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Healthcare design and documentation
• Architectural license required
• Strong Autodesk Revit proficiency
• Thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, codes, and building material characteristics
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and building codes, including MEP design and medical equipment requirements
• Ability to collaborate with multiple team members, consultant groups and stakeholders
• Ability to understand the client and various stakeholders’ vision and key factors for project success
• Ability to travel as projects require
• High level of leadership skills
• Clear and effective communication skills
