About The Position

The Senior Projects Analyst supports maintenance and project activities and manages the use of SAP to help ensure reliable, cost-effective Pipeline and Terminal operations. The role supports Midstream Projects through requisitioning, purchasing, project data and documentation management, SAP access and system support, training, and work-order administration. The position also serves as the Midstream Projects SAP subject matter expert, AM/P SuperUser, and EPPM Trainer.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the job-posting country.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand related drawings and technical documents.
At least 3 years of experience in maintenance using SAP or similar systems.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher.
At least 5 years of experience in maintenance using SAP or similar systems.
Experience with SAP or a similar Maintenance Management System.
Experience in procurement activities.
Experience supporting multiple projects.
Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pipeline and terminal equipment.

Responsibilities

Create requisitions for materials and services for Midstream Projects.
Support and manage change-order requests, coordinating with Project Leads and buyers to verify documentation and purchase-order updates.
Help Project Leads resolve purchase-order and invoice issues by communicating with vendors and Accounts Payable.
Request position IDs for contract Project Leads to enable ALM setup with Project Manager roles.
Request SAP access and ALM roles for new Project employees and contractors.
Research project data and system information in support of Project Leads.
Create and release networks and labor/expense activities for new Capital Projects.
Verify or update activity coding on existing labor networks.
Coordinate vendor additions and changes with Procurement Business Partners and Category Management.
Coordinate with Procurement to expedite conversion of requisitions to purchase orders and confirm purchase-order receipt with vendors.
Ensure costs are settled correctly, scope and instructions are fit for purpose, and applicable policies and procedures are referenced.
Review and monitor Project documentation for accuracy and validity.
Support Project Leads and PCLs in identifying the cause of SAP system errors and resolving them.
Serve as the Midstream Projects SAP subject matter expert, AM/P SuperUser, and EPPM Trainer.
Train Project Leads in Project Builder requisitioning and serve as the primary contact for Midstream Projects SAP support.
Train and support Process Reliability Analysts in using Project Builder for requisitioning.
Create and manage work orders for Midstream Projects contingent labor and regularly update project time and cost allocations to reflect proper project allocations.
