About The Position

SAIC is seeking a motivated, driven, and invested Project Analyst to join our team in Panama City, Florida. The Project Analyst will support all aspects of a production and R&D program at the Panama City Beach, Florida location. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility program. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic production and Government contracting environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one (1) year of related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in program management support, project coordination, or a related role in a DoW contracting or defense manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Government contracts including tracking deliverables, managing schedules, and coordinating across geographically dispersed teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite -- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for document management and team collaboration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence and reports
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Active SECRET clearance required at time of hire
  • Must be able to maintain clearance throughout the period of performance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with contract vehicles such as IDIQ, FFP, cost-reimbursable, or OTA contracts preferred
  • Prior experience supporting production programs or manufacturing environments a plus
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, CDRL management, and Government reporting preferred
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint or similar ERP systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in day-to-day program execution activities across both the Panama City Beach and Bedford, Indiana production facilities
  • Track and manage program deliverables, action items, and deadlines across all active contract vehicles and the follow-on FFP IDIQ
  • Maintain the program Team Site, SharePoint folders, and document repository to ensure all program documentation is current, organized, and accessible to the appropriate team members
  • Coordinate inputs for weekly status reports from all functional leads and consolidate into the Government-facing and internal leadership report templates
  • Monitor and track CDRL deliverable schedules and ensure timely submission to the Government customer
  • Participate in all program meetings including weekly customer status calls, internal team syncs, and leadership reviews
  • Prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and distribute action items following all program meetings
  • Track action item closure and follow up with owners to ensure timely resolution
  • Support preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and program reviews for customer and leadership audiences
  • Maintain and update the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in coordination with the Program Manager and Production Manager(s)
  • Track production schedule milestones against planned delivery dates and flag risks or schedule variances to the Program Manager
  • Support the Project Controller in tracking burn rates, spend plans, and funding status across all contract vehicles
  • Help maintain the program risk register and ensure risk owners are updating probability, impact, and mitigation status on a regular basis
  • Flag new risks or issues identified during meetings or status reviews to the Program Manager for assessment
