About The Position

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is looking for an Experienced Project Analyst to help drive high‑impact facilities and information projects at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston. As a Project Analyst, you’ll become a key player in planning and executing projects that keep our training infrastructure strong and ready. You’ll develop schedules, analyze performance, provide insightful reporting, and strengthen communication across a diverse team of engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. Your work will shape long‑term facility planning, informed decision‑making, and successful budget execution for the NPTU Charleston site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.
  • All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize project schedules
  • Track progress and highlight opportunities for improvement
  • Support risk analysis and mitigation planning
  • Drive clear communication across technical and program teams
  • Contribute to long‑range facility planning and project scoping
  • Help evaluate resources and support budget planning and execution
  • Collaborate across the Site Program Office to advance strategic initiatives
