About The Position

Global Card Issuance (GCI) is responsible for defining and executing the strategy and operations for American Express proprietary physical cards and payment devices globally. This includes managing card manufacturing, personalization, delivery, and service partners. The Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation (SCST) team within GCI focuses on planning and advancing the Card Issuance strategy through data analysis, research, and the development of new projects. The role involves collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing the card issuance supply chain, implementing solutions for process transformation, and creating a sustainable long-term strategy that aligns with financial targets and Blue Box goals, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and an optimal supply chain environment. The position will also lead and coordinate the execution of initiatives.
