About The Position

Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC) is seeking a Project Administrator to support infrastructure projects being delivered for the Tłı̨chǫ Government. This term opportunity will provide valuable experience in project administration while contributing to projects that support Tłı̨chǫ communities. Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma.
  • A minimum of two years of project-administration experience, preferably supporting construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work respectfully and effectively with Tłı̨chǫ Government staff, TIC representatives, community members, contractors, and project partners.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Create, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Maintain organized project files using document-management systems.
  • Organize project photographs for reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Track Daily Field Reports (DFRs) and prepare weekly progress summaries.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly project updates and supporting documentation.
  • Help ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
  • Update and maintain project schedules.
  • Assist with purchase orders, accounts payable documentation, invoicing, and cost tracking.
  • Support the preparation and submission of Change Notices (CCNs).
  • Assist with preparing reports for Tłı̨chǫ Government representatives.
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and project-tracking templates.
  • Assist with project scheduling using Microsoft Project. Training may be provided.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Training may be provided.
  • Ensure project records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and supporting documents.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Track action items and follow up with project team members.
  • Coordinate communication among Tłı̨chǫ Government departments, TIC representatives, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and upcoming activities clearly and promptly.
  • Assist Project Managers and Estimators as required.
  • Support contract and subcontract preparation and documentation.
  • Travel to project sites as required to take progress photographs and provide administrative support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
