The Project Administrator is a vital member of our Project Team, providing essential technical and administrative support across both our Residential and Commercial pipelines. If you possess a rock-solid attention to detail, love hitting deadlines, and find satisfaction in collaborating with internal teams and external partners alike, this is the role for you. This is a full-time position based in our Bellingham, WA office. ABOUT THE ROLE The Project Administrator serves as a critical support member for our active projects, handling everything from permitting and utility interconnection to document preparation and technical support. You’ll partner closely with our Project Managers and Designers to interpret technical plans, compile project packages, and keep documentation organized. You will frequently connect with our contracted customers to gather site info, answer general questions, and walk them through their next steps. Your goal is to keep workflows moving flawlessly so that our field crews can execute with accuracy and our customers enjoy an exceptional experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in project administration, permitting, utility coordination, or technical document management (bonus points for a background in construction, trades, or solar energy).
  • Proven competency in navigating digital platforms, project management software, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for answering client questions and liaising with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding & Compliance: Partner with contracted clients to gather utility and interconnection information.
  • Manage Utility Interconnections: Prepare and submit interconnection applications with utilities and project stakeholders.
  • Navigate Permitting: Secure vital electrical, building, and specialty permits across various jurisdictions.
  • Technical Quality Control: Prepare submittments and review project plans, drawings, and electrical schematics to support building accuracy.
  • Install Packages: Assemble field-ready install documents.
  • System Support: Provide troubleshooting, performance analysis, commissioning support when needed.
  • Project Closeout: Compile Operations & Maintenance manuals, training materials, and as-built records to successfully close out builds.
