The Project Accounting Associate will join the team in Baton Rouge, LA, assisting Project Management, Field Personnel, and Accounting Management to ensure accurate, efficient, and professional invoicing on each project.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business

Extensive technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, ReportsNow, etc.
Must pass a post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit detailed and accurate invoices of reimbursable costs associated with maintenance and construction projects to clients.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments, field personnel, and client representatives to compile invoicing information and resolve issues.
Assist other Project Accountants when their workload necessitates.
Undertake special projects such as client audits and system conversions as directed by Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management.
Prepare detailed and accurate month-end accruals.
Research, report, and explain billing transactions to Accounting Management.
Perform additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
