We are seeking a skilled Progressive Die Setter to join our team in Mundelein, Illinois. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our stamping presses and the production of precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining progressive dies, a strong understanding of stamping operations, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up progressive dies in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with press operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop instructions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physically capable of lifting materials up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- bilingual Spanish is a plus.
