The Programs Coordinator will work with the Director of Activities, care staff, and receptionists to ensure a high level of resident participation in activities. This role involves assisting in the monthly planning of the activity calendar, brainstorming new activities, updating digital signage and descriptions, and surveying residents to gauge interests. The coordinator will also help develop and maintain daily exercise programming, provide feedback on program effectiveness to the Director of Activities, and set up and clean up for activities. Safety is paramount, requiring the practice of good safety measures and immediate reporting of concerns. The role also includes assisting with marketing events, planning and leading activities, creating promotional materials, updating social media, and working with volunteers. Additionally, the coordinator may assist with scheduling transportation or driving, and ensure regulatory compliance.
