Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, performs duties necessary to support the Recreation Division by assisting with coordinating events and programs, including event and program management, marketing, development and maintenance of sponsor relationships, and oversight of staff, volunteers, vendors, and contractors. This role is responsible for the execution of special events and programs such as Fishing for Fun, Night Hike, Keep Keller Beautiful and others as assigned. It also involves administering and coordinating the City's Public Art Program, including planning and executing quarterly art exhibitions and artist receptions, and coordinating Public Art Board-sponsored events. The position serves as staff liaison to the Public Art Board and provides administrative and customer support.
