About The Position

The Programming & Marketing Intern supports the Marketing and Programming teams through digital marketing, content creation, website and Vista input management, movie programming support, promotional fulfillment, and event execution. The role offers hands-on experience in the operational and promotional aspects of theatrical exhibition, including film programming, guest engagement, digital platforms, social media strategy, and entertainment marketing.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business, Film Studies, Media Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
Strong interest in movies, entertainment, marketing, and digital media.
Experience working within Vista and comfort with data entry.
Familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging channels.
Experience creating digital content.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Experience with website content management systems, social media management tools, or creative software.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day management of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other emerging channels.
Create and publish social media content highlighting upcoming films, promotions, special events, and theatre experiences.
Brainstorm, film, edit, and publish short-form video content aligned with current trends and brand objectives.
Support social media scheduling, posting, and account maintenance.
Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on engagement, impressions, reach, and audience growth.
Research emerging social media trends and recommend ways to increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
Assist with movie title creation and setup requests within Vista.
Support entry, review, and maintenance of film data, including title information and reporting requirements.
Help monitor upcoming film releases and ensure programming information in Vista is accurate and complete.
Assist with special-event programming pages and promotional packages on the website.
Support ticketing and pricing updates as directed by the Programming team.
Contribute to departmental projects involving film scheduling, special programming initiatives, and operational support.
Assist with weekly website updates, including homepage maintenance and promotional banner rotations.
Maintain movie and special-event landing pages, ensuring information is accurate and current.
Update mobile app merchandising by organizing featured movies, promotions, special events, and seasonal programming.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deployment of marketing campaigns and promotional content.
Coordinate the assembly and fulfillment of promotional prize packs, giveaways, and contests.
Prepare and distribute movie passes, promotional materials, and marketing assets for community partnerships and charitable initiatives.
Maintain promotional inventory and track fulfillment requests.
Assist with coordination and execution of promotional events, advance screenings, and guest engagement programs.
Support event logistics, promotional materials, giveaways, and guest communications.
Provide on-site event support when required.
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to execute events and promotions successfully.
Support marketing campaign execution across digital, social, and in-theatre channels.
Assist with reporting, data collection, and presentation preparation as needed.
