Requirements

4+ years of experience developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software that interfaces hardware devices, storage systems, or specialized peripherals in C or C++ in Linux or UNIX environments
4+ years of experience analyzing legacy or existing source code and implementing modifications without disrupting operational capabilities
2+ years of experience performing hardware and software integration and system level testing
Knowledge of TCP, IP, UDP, and multicast networking
Knowledge of methods and processes to investigate software, hardware integration problems, develop solutions, and operationally verify corrective changes
Ability to execute hardware upgrades to replace aging commercial storage components ensuring hardware compatibility
Ability to develop and maintain user manuals, technical documents, and test procedures
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Experience providing Naval Fleet technical assistance and support
Ability to support migration and preservation of data from aging media and storage technologies

Responsibilities
