Georgetown University is seeking a Programmer for the Department of Health Management and Policy in the School of Health. This role focuses on the intersection of public health and big data, utilizing Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (TAF) data to advance research goals for an existing R01 grant. The project investigates disparities in care among Medicaid beneficiaries with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) from 2016 to 2022, analyzing data from over 86 million beneficiaries across all states. The Programmer will analyze large datasets, construct tables and figures for publications, collaborate on research questions and methodology, serve as data custodian, and work with project managers and researchers across institutions. This is a full-time, temporary position with a one-year appointment and potential for renewal.
