About The Position

KēSTA I.T. is actively seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst / Salesforce Developer for an immediate contract engagement. This role involves designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Salesforce solutions to meet complex CRM requirements. The position requires translating business and technical needs into secure, scalable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions, supporting the entire Salesforce development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include hands-on development across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Salesforce configuration, integrations, data migration, and CI/CD processes. The role demands close collaboration with technical managers, architects, business stakeholders, developers, customers, and end users to define requirements, develop solutions, manage releases, support integrations, and ensure alignment with business objectives, security standards, and long-term technology strategies. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple priorities, communicating technical concepts effectively, and delivering quality solutions on time.

Requirements

6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce DX (SFDX) and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
4+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.
5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud.
5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Strong hands-on experience with Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex Triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
Strong knowledge and working experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Experience participating in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations.
In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, limitations, and development practices.
Strong experience implementing Salesforce solutions using declarative/no-code capabilities, including Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
Strong experience migrating Salesforce Classic to Lightning.
Experience migrating legacy Visualforce portals to Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
5+ years of experience with GoMeddo Scheduling customization, or equivalent experience with comparable scheduling products.
5+ years of experience with Conga Composer.
Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.
Strong knowledge of core web technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
Experience implementing authentication protocols, including OAuth, for third-party application integrations.
Demonstrated experience developing Batch Apex and/or Scheduled Apex.
Experience managing end-to-end Salesforce technical activities involving data migrations, data quality, system integrations, third-party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
Experience designing and documenting technical architecture solutions spanning multiple platforms, integrations, and authentication mechanisms.
Experience supporting SFDX development, source control, branch management, merging, and code deployment.
Experience using Azure DevOps to support CI/CD, build, deployment, source control, requirements tracking, or release-management activities.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and the ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performance technical solutions.
Ability to identify, assess, and communicate technical risks and issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and communicate strategic technical concepts at multiple organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, technical managers, architects, developers, and end users to gather, analyze, and define technical requirements for new Salesforce projects and enhancements.
Translate business requirements and performance objectives into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce technical solutions.
Ensure technical designs align with established requirements, organizational strategies, application standards, and long-term technology objectives.
Take ownership of Salesforce application release cycles, including development, testing, deployment, enhancements, and updates to existing applications and code.
Maintain overall technical responsibility for Salesforce development and project environments.
Establish and maintain development guidelines, coding standards, technical practices, and architectural standards for development teams.
Collaborate with developers and technical teams supporting other enterprise systems to design and implement cross-platform integrations.
Ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to applicable security guidelines, standards, authentication requirements, and secure development practices throughout the application lifecycle.
Assess Salesforce architecture and recommend secure, scalable, high-performance solutions across the Salesforce platform.
Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Apex Triggers, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce configuration tools.
Configure Salesforce using declarative/no-code capabilities, including Flows, Process Builders, Workflow Rules, and comparable platform functionality.
