About The Position

The Programme Manager will promote Ocean FCL business development, specifically in Commodities items of Ocean FCL Product. This role is responsible for achieving targets set by the Company in volume/TEUs & Gross Profit via own account development and through country/network Sales. The Programme Manager will liaise with Sales Teams to assist them in customer coverage and country Pipeline, Operations (in-country) to ensure full SOP/smooth handling of shipments, and Procurement (in-country & Regional) to ensure a relevant mix of equipment, space & rate is available. They will maintain clear reporting of monthly activities & accomplishments with the Global Head of Commodities and network colleagues, lead & maintain a national Pipeline of Commodities accounts sufficient for Budget, and become familiar with the Company’s ISC solutions as another Sales channel. Additionally, the role involves finding suitable Commodities Exhibitions and Shows for attendance & client promotion, and assisting network offices to have a sellable Commodities customer product to reach scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics management in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
