The Program Training Specialist provides direct, consistent, hands-on training, including but not limited to case planning, assessments, working with children/youth and families, court preparation, completion of forms, and documentation for all new Case Managers. This role involves creating learning environments in partnership with supervisors, conducting regular communication during the first 90 days of employment, and developing and facilitating program-wide trainings. The specialist also reviews new hires' documentation, observes interactions, and provides feedback to ensure compliance and thoroughness. Additionally, the role may involve serving as a relief Case Manager and participating in an on-call rotation for urgent issues, which includes availability, rapid response, problem resolution, potential travel, and documentation. The position requires travel throughout the state of Kansas to provide training and a flexible schedule to meet the needs of staff and community partners. The specialist must implement Saint Francis Ministries policies and adhere to all relevant procedures, standards, and regulations, including reporting critical and unusual incidents and ensuring client rights are protected.
