Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration or a business-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a healthcare administrator, certified project manager, or in a related area.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards.
  • Knowledge of military and civilian guidelines governing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to provide a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the start of performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting involving clinical trauma, particularly Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and program support for the Air Force Reserve Command's Mercy Health trauma and medical readiness training program.
  • Coordinate training schedules for military personnel across contracted Mercy Health locations and maintain detailed monthly training rosters.
  • Collaborate with military leadership and Mercy Health educators to support didactic and hands-on clinical training.
  • Coordinate simulation lab scheduling and other training resources required for Air Force Reserve personnel.
  • Collect, review, and maintain After Action Reports and participant surveys and report results during quarterly staff meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to military staff, including correspondence, filing, database maintenance, office supplies, room scheduling, and preparation of training and in-processing packets.
  • Coordinate first-day registration activities, including badges, scrubs, rosters, and required administrative documentation.
  • Develop and maintain the annual training schedule and coordinate with Reserve units to ensure scheduling and pre-arrival documentation deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate updates and reviews of Training Affiliation Agreements (TAAs), Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with civilian universities, military organizations, legal offices, and Air Force Reserve Command.
  • Coordinate informational tours and visits for dignitaries, public organizations, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and security to ensure operational security and badge control requirements are maintained.
  • Maintain and update Reserve medical training contacts and capabilities rosters.
  • Complete Mercy Health's annual tour orientation program within the first 60 days.
