Provides support services to clinical staff in the Mental Health Department, including administrative and clerical services. Enters relevant data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), Correctional Offender Information System (CORIS), and other databases to track inmate mental health status, appointments, and related clinical information. Schedules clinical appointments in the EHR and maintains appointment-related documentation. Files documentation in inmate medical records, prepares charts for clinical and psychiatric appointments when needed, and ensures required documentation is available for providers. Prepares Master Pass Lists and enters information into CORIS and/or the EHR for clinical appointments. Prepares copies of relevant documentation and inmate medical records as requested by authorized outside agencies and transmits documentation in accordance with department procedures. May assist with special projects or program-related assignments. Provides back-up clerical support to the medical unit as needed. This is a wage position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12 month period of May 1 – April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.
