About The Position

Branches Salem is seeking a master’s level individual (licensure preferred) to support the Outpatient team as a Program Supervisor. This role requires extensive knowledge of working with clients with substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, mental health conditions, and specialty groups such as behavioral pain patients, impaired professionals, patients with trauma, and military clients. The position involves conducting initial treatment planning and assessments, leading group therapy sessions, supporting patient chart audits, and providing case management and discharge planning for an assigned caseload. Additionally, the supervisor will conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions as needed. This role requires attendance at all staff meetings, including weekly treatment team meetings. The Program Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care activities in line with established standards of care, mental health practice, and facility policies, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational, and quality improvement efforts, while also guiding administrative staff and Program Therapists. Administrative duties include overseeing physician schedules, patient compliance, and the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations. The individual must be capable of performing other assigned duties, including crisis intervention and tasks assigned by the Director of Outpatient Services.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or equivalent required

  • 3 years of related experience preferred
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities
