About The Position

Work full-time in the Multicultural and Community Affairs (MACA) department at Creighton University. This is an on-campus position and is fully grant funded. Supervises the coordination of the Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) Grant along with Multicultural & Community Affairs Pipeline Programs and Education Activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ year's of related experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Ability to work evening, weekend, and holidays when needed
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Organizational and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in grant writing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as COPC coordinator
  • Prepare updates/annual reports
  • Assist evaluation specialist with instruments
  • Maintain databases
  • Plan and organize weekly Common Ground lunch program
  • Assist with tutor training
  • Recruit and monitor student researchers
  • Serve as member of COPC scholarship committee
  • Research new grant opportunities
  • Assist with grant writing activities
  • Assist with grant budgeting activities
  • Supervise Pipeline Programs
  • Manage data
  • Assist with planning departmental events
  • Assist with education activities (electives) and CHW Training
  • Develop newsletters on a quarterly basis
  • Provides supervision and assistance with MACA communications and personnel on brochures, social media and newsletter development
  • Manages administrative functions that may arise
