Program Supervisor - Child Welfare Service Referral Program
About The Position
The Program Supervisor of the Child Welfare Resource Referral Program will work collaboratively within and across programs to ensure a relentless focus on keeping children safe and supporting families, which includes replacing what we currently think of as child welfare services with what we know to be child, family, and community well-being solutions. As program supervisor, you will supervise a team of Community Resource Navigators who work collaboratively with families identified by the Department of Child and Family Services for 30 days to help meet a range of needs including identifying resources and completing community referrals.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field required.
- At least two years’ social services experience required.
- Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol (CERAP), and Child Abuse and Neglect (CANS) certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed required.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
