The Program Specialist for Performance Health serves as a vital bridge between the Peabody Conservatory and the Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network's (JHRN) Clinic for Performing Artists. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive injury prevention, performance optimization, health promotion, and occupational health resources to foster a healthy campus learning environment for Conservatory musicians and dancers. Building upon existing programs and services, the Program Manager will coordinate new initiatives such as advisement sessions, baseline screenings, wellness tracking, and workshops and individual consultations including performance psychology, nutrition, sleep health, strength and conditioning, among others. The position requires close collaboration with the JHRN Clinic Manager/Team, Peabody Student Affairs and Academic Affairs Teams, JHU Student Health and Well-Being, and Performing Arts & Health Department Chair to ensure seamless integration of clinical and educational services. Job duties encompass program development and support, health promotion and communication, administrative operations, and strategic planning/future initiatives.
