Program Specialist - Full-Time Are you passionate about empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? St. Joseph’s Center, a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with diverse needs, is seeking a full-time Program Specialist for our Adult Day Program located at our Main Center campus in Scranton. This position plays a critical role in developing, using, and monitoring personal services and supports for program participants, ensuring a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Valid PA Driver’s License.
Ability to lift/move items over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, and kneeling.
Willingness to complete Certified Medication Administration training and other certifications as needed (e.g., CPR Instructor, Certified Investigator).

Responsibilities

Develop, use, and monitor personal service plans (ISPs) for up to 30 participants.
Ensure follow with PA 2380 regulations and organizational policies.
Coordinate and supervise Program Assistants, including specialized training related to health and safety needs.
Complete assessments and share results prior to ISP meetings; attend initial, annual, and revision ISP meetings.
Create age-appropriate, functional outcomes and review progress quarterly.
Maintain accurate documentation and data collection for all services and supports.
Assist with personal care and therapeutic needs as required.
Collaborate with team teams, outside agencies, and families.
Administer medications upon completion of PA Certified Medication Administration Course; review medication logs and records.
Participate in staff meetings, fire drills, and required annual training (minimum 24 hours).
Maintain program materials and ensure a safe, positive environment for participants and staff.
