About The Position

The Program Specialist will work within and across a variety of functional areas throughout the organization. The Program Specialist performs a wide range of duties and roles, including executive administrative support; project and meeting coordination and management; document preparation and management; data gathering, research and analysis; and assisting with development, communication, and compliance activities. The Program Specialist can function independently, develop and implement systems and processes, coordinate and manage organizational and department projects, establish timelines, and stay on task. The Program Specialist has a strong attention to detail and is able to be flexible and multi-task. The Program Specialist ensures confidential information is handled with extreme sensitivity and interacts with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This position is able to prioritize tasks and activities and utilizes excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Program Specialist requires effective analytical and problem-solving skills. This position utilizes Microsoft Office products, databases, and other software on a daily basis. The Program Specialist participates in professional associations and professional development opportunities as applicable.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to navigate databases and other software programs as needed
  • Proficient communication and business writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
