About The Position

Participates in the development and coordination of training programs for members, which enhance their Quality of Life and increases their independence. Provide direct supervision and training to members utilizing normalization principles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two years of college in psychology, special education, or human services field preferred.
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains program standards of operation and development
  • Ensures members’ health, safety, and welfare, including appropriate medication administration
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures in regards to member and program funds.
  • Maintains appropriate staff/member interactions.
  • Ensures compliance with the annual Individual Habilitation Plan process for members.
  • Ensures compliance with the Agency’s Periodic Service Review and other quality assurance programs.
  • Ensures compliance with CAU Policies and Procedures, Department of Human Services Policies and Procedures and licensing requirements.
  • Provides appropriate direct supports to members.
  • Maintains Carelogic expectations.
  • Checks CAU e-mail account on a regular basis.
  • Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
  • Cooperates with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigation.
