LMI seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Program Scheduler to support a federal program management office in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Requirements

  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or information management
  • 3-8 years of experience in scheduling.
  • Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across programs
  • Integrate schedules across portfolios in the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool
  • Monitor progress against the schedule and adjust as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
  • Develop executive level schedule metrics and management reports.
  • Identify and analyze the critical path.
  • Perform schedule analysis of progress against the baseline plan.
  • Perform “what if” scenarios within the schedules.
  • Attend program/project meetings to discuss and review schedules.
