About The Position

The Program Scheduler develops and maintains integrated master schedules to support program management, demand planning, and capacity resource analysis for all facility product lines. This role synchronizes inputs from growth, program management, engineering, supply chain, and operations to ensure alignment with contractual commitments and delivery milestones. The position is onsite, full-time, with occasional travel required. It performs functions considered safety sensitive for maintenance purposes, requiring compliance with the company’s Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., InFor, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, engineering documentation, BOMs, and configuration changes and translate them into executable schedules.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to influence operations, engineering, supply chain, growth, and programs team.
  • Knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and systems.
  • Proficient in schedule performance and program health metrics analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree targeting Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in planning/scheduling or finance
  • Strong production planning and scheduling experience in a complex, production and engineering to-order low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace or defense.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the Program Manager to lead the preparation, development, and coordination of resource-loaded integrated master plans and schedules for highly complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Oversees the tracking and maintenance of project plans and schedules to ensure alignment on demand, supply, capacity, and execution priorities across functions and programs.
  • Coordinates new project introduction and engineering change activity into the schedule, managing effectivity dates and plans.
  • Monitors adherence to the master schedule, tracking key metrics such as program milestones, on-time start/completions, schedule attainment, past-due risks, and lead time performance.
  • Drives corrective actions with the program team, operations, and supply chain.
  • Partners with supply chain to ensure long-lead and regulated components (ITAR, export-controlled, electronics, and composites) are planned and procured in line with lead times and demand.
  • Partners with material planning to maintain planning data integrity in the ERP/MRP system (BOMs, routing-based lead times, work centers, and planning parameters) to ensure accurate signals and realistic schedules.
  • Provides regularly scheduled status and risk updates to program management and leadership teams.
  • Supports bids, proposals, and capacity planning for the aircraft modification group.
  • Participates in pursuit strategy and development of compliant estimates and proposal artifacts.
  • Supports internal and customer audits related to planning and scheduling requirements typical in defense aerospace environments.
  • Supports risk and opportunity (R&O) plans and processes so that potential schedule and resource impacts are managed properly.
  • Performs other duties as required.
