About The Position

The Program Quality Engineer (Adv Quality Eng) is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and deliverables meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout the program lifecycle. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
  • Meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify and mitigate quality risks
  • Ability to review and approve technical documentation, test plans, and inspection records
  • Proficiency with quality management systems and tools including FMEA, APQP, and SPC
  • Hands-on experience ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and/or MIL-SPEC standards
  • Background working with DoD programs and interfacing with DCMA

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a quality engineering role within a defense or aerospace environment
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools (FMEA, APQP, SPC)
  • Knowledge of applicable standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or MIL-SPEC
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA)
  • Experience with DoD programs and DCMA interface
  • Experience reviewing documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Plans (QMPs) for assigned programs
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements
  • Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes (RCCA/CAR)
  • Monitoring and reporting key quality metrics to program leadership
  • Interfacing with customers on quality-related matters and supporting customer audits
