Requirements

  • 12–15 years of total experience, including a meaningful early-career foundation as a hands-on cloud infrastructure, networking, or security engineer before transitioning into project / program management.
  • 5+ years managing complex technical delivery in a Senior or Lead PM capacity, with direct accountability for executive-level communication.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures spanning OCI and Azure, and with integration and data movement patterns (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, GoldenGate).
  • Strong working fluency (sufficient to challenge designs and assess risk, though not hands-on day-to-day) across: Azure networking (VNETs, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints), hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, FastConnect, IPSec VPN), and BGP routing concepts including failover and multi-region design.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud security controls: identity and access management (Azure AD, IAM, RBAC), key management, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with Agile / SAFe delivery models, PI planning, and standard PM tooling (JIRA, ADO, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • High School Diploma / GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including core services (Compute, VCN, IAM, Object Storage), OCI networking constructs (DRG, FastConnect, Service Gateway), and security/governance patterns (compartments, policies, vaults).
  • Prior experience as a cloud networking, security, or infrastructure engineer earlier in career — recency of hands-on work is not required, but depth of grounding is.
  • Experience delivering large-scale cloud migration or core platform modernization programs in regulated industries (financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare).
  • Familiarity with zero-trust architecture patterns and API security (OAuth, OpenID, mTLS).
  • Experience navigating multi-vendor systems integration engagements with senior client executives.
  • Experience managing API, SaaS product delivery a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery for the platform foundation workstream, covering cloud landing zones, hybrid connectivity, identity, and security control planes across Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Own the workstream roadmap, milestones, RAID log, and dependency map; drive resolution across architecture, security, networking, and vendor teams.
  • Partner with senior architects to pressure-test designs covering ExpressRoute, FastConnect, BGP routing, VPN, NSGs, IAM, and zero-trust patterns — surface risks early and challenge assumptions before they reach production.
  • Manage cross-pillar and cross-vendor dependencies, including integration touchpoints with channel, data, and core banking platforms.
  • Run the operating rhythm for the workstream: standups, design reviews, steering committee prep, executive readouts, and PI / increment planning.
  • Build and deliver executive communications — status decks, risk briefings, decision memos — for senior client sponsors and engagement leadership.
  • Translate technical depth into crisp business outcomes.
  • Drive resource planning, onboarding, and capacity management for the workstream pod, including FTE forecasting and skills coverage.
  • Track and report against budget, burn, schedule, and quality metrics; escalate variances with proposed remediation.
  • Champion delivery discipline — change control, environment management, cutover planning, and operational readiness — across the workstream.

Benefits

  • medical, dental, vision, and long-term disability coverage
  • a 401(k) plan
  • paid time off
